Back now to Spring Break 2013 Day 2
We went to an episode of The Talk, it’s the view but with a
different cast. Sharon Osbourne, Julie
Chen and others. Being a male I was not
in the target demo but it was still a blast we got to sit right up front. Coop (our professor) got to do a little jig
to some funk and won a dance off. Not to
mention the inspiration for life.
Bret Micheals was there having just been eliminated from
Celebrity Apprentice.
But the real fun was after the show. We were privy to a taping of a commercial for
Hawaii Five0. Then we got to go into the
control room. All while having the
various heads of departments telling us what they do, sharing what they thought
we should know about moving, and what type of work ethic is expected.
We followed that up with a visit to Warner Bros. (this is
very serious Warner Bros.) audience research
learned a bit about what they do. This
trip was a lot of what people expect to see on a resume and a cover
letter. Still struggle pretty good with
those at times.
