I didn't manage to find the time to script out my intro yesterday but I did get some positive feedback for my pitch in class yesterday I've tweaked it.
Based on those notes.
The Road Ahead tells the story of me, a recent Ohio University graduate as I prepare for the risk of a lifetime. "Midnight Rider" plays, I look up into the rear view mirror as my family and friends wave goodbye. The journey is planned, the destination is set, but nobody knows what life has in store. I'll leave full of hope and aspiration, but at some point will giving up the safety and security be too much? If I arrive will all hope be restored? Looking forward I turn the key taking off on my American Dream.
The suggestions were to make it more personal cutting out the third person since it's about me. The other suggestion was maybe less focus on LA though I'm not sure how that's going to be all that possible in the actual film. Thoughts and feedback on the discription greatly appreciated.
Also if you haven't take a look at the Collin Powell selfie hilarious. Wonder if there is a way to subtle mention George Takei? Doubt it.
Now time to go work on that intro and how I'm going to do those interviews.
