Crazy People

So you ever think of something and your like damn that'd be pretty awesome and then you completely forget it because you had an idiot attack and didn't write it down or anything.  I had that happen apparently.  I distinctly remember having a great thought I don't remember if it was for the blog or for the Doc but I've completely forgotten what it was.  That's annoying.

So did a mini interview for our The Post pertaining to the Community event and of course I mentioned the reason I started the event.

It's the Indiegogo in case you forgot.

Today is a bit of a gloomy day I've got a job interview up the road about 20 miles so I figure I'll do some test footage try a different location in the vehicle for exterior shots and see what that looks like.

I've also been toying with the idea of taking a Northern Route to California.

Here's the planned southern route.   Athens to St. Louis to (basically)Roswell( by way of Kansas Oklahoma and Texas with really no meaningful stops.  From Roswell to Grand Canyon to Vegas to LA.

Here is the new projected Northern Route.

Athens to St. Louis to Mt. Rushmore to Yellowstone to Grand Canyon to Vegas to LA

Old                vs.                 New
2500mi                               3100mi
37 Hours                            49 Hours
3 - 4 Days                          4 - 6 Days    (these are both assuming the stops are very minimal time unlikely)
$434  Gas                          $534 Gas

I figure about $100 for food on the old route so New route $100-$200.  I'd found some cheap Motel 6s on the old route totaling $90  assuming I can find them around the same price on the new $120 to $260.

I've heard some complaints about the desert route. I don't think the flatness would bother me all that much I've been in that area of before most of the plains states are that way anyway whats it matter if it's brown or green?  But the Northern route really does have some highlights sure I'm missing out on Roswell but I feel like I've met a lot of those people working at the radio station.

Oddly enough typing crazy people in google images doesn't quite get the expected results.  Go ahead try I'll wait.

...

Told you.

Well that's all I can apparently remember for todays blog as always.

Thoughts, tips, advice, ideas.
