Month

So it's been just over a month since we started this Journey.  Some highs and lows.  Some rejection (adsense I'm looking at you). But we've hit 2000 views for a guy that wasn't really into blogging and my social media existance consisted of Facebook, I think I've done pretty well.

And it's not gonna stop here.  I'm nowhere near my funding goal.

On the right hand side you'll see the campaign as of this writing it's sitting at $3.

My $3 which is unnecessary because I'm already putting in all kinds of other money not even setup in the budget.  But I wanted to make sure it was working.

So here is my pitch.

The Road Ahead tells the story of me, a recent Ohio University graduate as I prepare for the risk of a lifetime. "Midnight Rider" plays, I look up into the rear view mirror as my family and friends wave goodbye. The journey is planned, the destination is set, but nobody knows what life has in store. I'll leave full of hope and aspiration, but at some point will giving up the safety and security be too much? If I arrive will all hope be restored? Looking forward I turn the key taking off on my American Dream.

$3 a postcard of the car I'll be using mailed to you from any stop along the way with a thank you note (or if you'd like I can send you a blank one so you can use it.

$15 gets you the edited documentary.  I'll be submitting it to film fest and the like but you'll see it before them and can even advise me how to tweak it if you'd like.

$30 Ten minutes of me shooting video for you.  Now this would be me filming locally and sending to you.

$75 Novelty shirt or Glass of some sort from any of my stops.St. Louis Arch, Roswell, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas are what I'm looking at right now but I'm open to suggestions.

I'M ALSO OPEN TO DEMANDS

$125 I will go anywhere you send me west of Ohio. Be it take some pictures for you at the Grand Canyon, or blow $100 of your donated money in Vegas, if it's not against the law or sexual I'll do it. Plus you get the postcard.
